Successful completion of DMV computer test is required prior to receiving a learner’s permit, which will allow student to receive behind-the-wheel driving instruction.
Note: Ages 18+ must complete test at local DMV.
Ages 15-17 have online test completion option.
Upon successful completion of this test you will be eligible to receive your Florida Restricted or Permit Drivers License at the Florida DMV offices. This test is approved by the Florida Department Highway Safety Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) in Tallahassee, FL. The American Safety Institute (ASI) is a 3rd party company that is offers the permit test online.
Please note: You must be under the age of 18 years old to take the test online.
